Manchester United have reportedly triggered one-year contract extensions for Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw and Fred.
All four players were due to be out of contract next summer.
Goalkeeper David de Gea is also on a deal that expires in 2023 but is reportedly in talks over a new contract.
According to The Athletic, United want De Gea to sign a deal on lower wages rather than continue for another year on the £375,000-a-week contract he signed in September 2019.
De Gea, Rashford, Dalot and Shaw have all been regular starters under new United manager Erik ten Hag.
Rashford, in particular, has looked revitalised, scoring eight goals in 19 games before the World Cup.
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said during the World Cup that Rashford would be a tempting signing if he was to become a free agent.
“He’s another player that is really amazing,” Al-Khelaifi told Sky Sports.
“And for free? To have Rashford for free, every club would run after him, definitely.
“We’re not hiding it, we spoke before and… interest. But the moment was not a good moment for both sides. Maybe summer, why not?
“Today, if he’s a free agent, of course, we can talk to him directly but we are not going to talk to him now. Let him focus on the World Cup. Then after in January, hopefully, if we’re interested we will talk to him.”
All four players would have been free to speak to overseas clubs in January if their contracts were not extended.
Dalot has been the regular starter at right-back under Ten Hag, while Shaw has returned to the defence after initially losing out to new signing Tyrell Malacia.
Fred has started just four Premier League games this season as he battles with Casemiro and Christian Eriksen for a role.
It has been reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano that United will offer Dalot and Rashford longer deals.
United are in action on Wednesday when they host Championship side Burnley in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
